PIECES OF THE PUZZLE (Revised)

Here’s a little something personal about the man God created in me. For those who “kinda” know me, either through my work, acquaintance of my wife or even online presence. Know that most people accept others solely by the character they display or the result of their actions. For the most part, this is the best we can do. The majority often assume, become judgmental or simply fall into speculation (I was like this once upon a time). This being it’s far more comfortable to view someone else’s life, through one’s own opinions, understandings and even moral values.

Simply put, when it comes to interpersonal communications,  some people may not have developed the skill level to really listen, (mainly men from what I’ve been told) nor  have they developed the patience to share empathy or even ask questions in honest regard; especially at the beginning of another’s relationship. People consisting of family and friends often for the purposes of (polite gossip), unmerited curiosities or just plain playing the devil’s advocate, try to fit in their own understanding or picture. Thus, choosing to fit the pieces of their own puzzled mind into their reality. So in this mindset and years later, I’d like to offer a bit more about who I am, what I claim my purposes to be and what makes me tick/think or react, in the manner of a leader by example. This gets a little personal being at one point in my life, it was considered to be embarrassing but such is life; if lived right.

My upbringing like many was not the greatest but was blessed beyond my years of youthful understanding. Moreover, I grew up hard, rigid and continuously hurt. In my teen years I became overly protective, closed off and blinded to the goodness in life. My early adult years were of anger and oppression but fortunately I found solitude, with a numbing-physical strength I came to fall in love with (called fighting). By this time in my life, my body was scarred with bullets and knife wounds, my hands and knuckles were callused, leathery and always clenched. My eyes only seen the darkness of the world, as I constantly prepared for the worse case scenario around every corner.

Tangible goals held too closely only to crumble upon my feet, was just another day of expectance. I was always preparing for the next fight or like thereof, as the study of ninjutsu was my (or so I thought) Innate passion. I recall enduring hundreds of fist pushups on concrete and broken glass, shin kicking trees and mastering weapons of battle, just because it was feasible to my outlook on life. I endured this act of insecurity and pain, until I became content with a lifestyle of misery and turmoil. After a while of this form of lustful denial, I started to enjoyed the sensation of pain whether mental or physical. What could I say, being it was the only sensation my body could feel. Rigid in the bliss of my ignorance, I felt I could no longer be hurt, challenged or even caught off guard, so pridefully I journeyed out into the world. Soon afterwards, I did something unlike the warrior I cherished within. I took an unlikely turn at the flip of her hair, seemingly flowing “in slow motion,” landing just right in the glimmer of light over her shoulder. At the time I didn’t know what I was thinking! I knew it wasn’t lust but more so of the spirit.

In short, I met my future wife Kelly! Completely opposite of what I’d thought a woman to be, she was strangely different. She was quirky, unimaginably lively and for some reason always glowing with smile. Nothing about her attracted me or so I thought, until her light entered the darkness of my dreams and corrupted understandings. Now I was officially confused! Simultaneously the spirit that dwelt in me since childhood, started to speak louder and with more clarity, almost yelling within the thought process I’ve grown to adored. “She is for you!” Over and over again “she is for you!” I tried to fight this thing but her exuberant personality taunted my ego to no end! How could she see past my roughed, perfectly perfected “stand-offish” ways! Her smile was almost as if I was missing out on something completely meant for my purpose.
On many occasions I tried to break this connection because I knew that in kelly’s world the rain didn’t exist but in my world, I welcomed the brute of the storm, hands raised high boldly playing in the drench of the cold, daring to be struck by lightning. Why didn’t she let me be? Why did the Holy Spirit wake me from the comfort of my nightmarish ways? At the time I didn’t know but as I stand today, I fully understand that I was created not to be of the storm but to survive it, if and when it comes to pass.
Now growing within the created purpose of my life, I am whole. I am happy to say, I am alive in mind, body and spirit and to say the least it’s absolutely amazing. My body has surprisingly regenerated in ways that even the doctors are astounded but I know this to be the workings of God. It’s as if the previous 20 years of hardship has somehow been magically erased. All I know is, Kelly is the beauty to my beast, the water that fills my cup to capacity and the God send that has change the very essence of my soul.

Now when people look at us, I’m sure someone or two (even in the kindness of their heart) still wonder a bit. That is, for those of inquisitive nature still trying to fit the pieces together, please rest assure. Kelly and I have a connection far stronger than physical lust, contentment or denial. Simply put, Its spiritual on every positive level of human understanding. Moreover, as my children touch and pamper the scars, calluses and old wounds etched across my body, I’ve become even more-so filled with thankfulness and joy. Now I can truly feel the sensations of care, love and innocence (with the occasional action figure impressed within the muscles of my back after a rough nights sleep). I can feel the warmth of my wife’s gentle touch, as she pulls me in to cuddle. Not to forget that seemingly immovable crumb, trapped under my bed sheet at night; such are the joys of being physically and mentally awaken from a mindbogglingly-nightmarish life.

Here’s what I’ve learned, life can be so amazingly wonderful and understood, If we’d just open up and listen to the spirit of wisdom. Life can truly be filled with abundance, growth and overjoy. If we’d just/trust and get out of the way of our created insecurities, fears and judgments.

From what I gather, most people really don’t know Kelly and I’s story, but know that it’s a story we all share to some degree. If we’d all just change the perception of our lives and boldly choose love, faith and commitment over doubt. In this we’d easily find ourselves overcoming the storms, annoying crumbs and mind-numbing obstacles scattered within the world.

In conclusion, let us not stress over the missing pieces, seemingly lost from the big picture of our perceived understandings but rather continue on, until God’s picture of our life is complete.

WHY GET CAUGHT OFF GUARD?

72

Let’s be honest, by now we’ve got a pretty good idea on the present, regarding days, appointments and everyday routines. We know that if it’s Sunday, Monday will soon without fail follow. If it’s December, January is just right around the corner. If today you’re in a heightened state of awareness, it’s well understood that one day you’ll have a mentally not so focused off day; such is life.

With this said, going into this new year, please remember to stay prayed up and confident in every facet regarding your connections with others. Do your best to make sure these interactions are meaningful, worthwhile and truly heartfelt. Enjoy conversations over lunch or dinner with friends and family, share stories and experiences. Exercise without concerns or stress, do this in a carefree manner. Whatever capabilities you have, remember to save a little of your capability for others in need.

Physically prepare yourself everyday to prove futuristically, the doctor’s negative prognosis wrong. If you can’t afford something at this specific moment in time (i.e. material lusts), wait until you have the overflowing means to do so. Maybe by this time you’ll realize, you really didn’t need the item of interest in the first place. Now take that overflow, save half and with the other half surprise someone and be a blessing with it! Lastly, love and become even more affectionate to someone deserving of your commitment starting today! Just pour on the love, forgiveness and kindness, especially for those who requires it the most.

Relax and be faithful of the good seeds sown, this will benefit you on those seemingly long days when life appears to catch you off guard. So the question remains, why get caught off guard? Here’s the answer, “don’t even stress it, just keep showering people with love, respect and affection without fail, whether you believe they’re deserving or not.” In this everyday practice, it will soon become a paradigm shift in your life. Within this shift, you’ll never have to ponder the posed question or those long dreaded days of doubt again. Extend your heart, humbly sow a physical, financial or spiritual seed upon those closest and one day you’ll reap a bountiful harvest by way of God’s delight. Upon this, keep it going!

Continue this process over and over again, creating a legacy as God intends for our lives. It is my faith that we’d together, find that someone in need or has been “caught off guard” in life and usher in a personal blessing in Jesus name. May God continue to wonderfully bless and have favor over your journey my friends; Merry Christmas and Happy Healthy Holidays. – Reginald O’Neal Gibson

MY LIFE’S WORK

BookCoverPreview

My life’s work is that of being a humble servant of God’s overall purposes for our lives. Simply put, I’m committed to do my part as it was anointed upon my spirit since birth. This desire is to help others, share wisdom and lead by example as the Holy Spirit directs me through this journey in life. With this said, my new book is an easy read, straight forward and conformational piece of literature. Here’s an excerpt from THE BOOK of WISDOM the age of mindfulness 2nd.chapter.

Know that one of my purposes, or “work” is to provide a “in time correlation” of how the wisdom of the bible still resonates in today’s society. So, regarding the meaning of the word “job,” it defines as compensation for employment of services rendered to a business, company or establishment for an agreed service.

Defining the word “work” goes as follows, the physical or mental calling of achievement through the effort and activity by way of purposeful result; for yourself or others.

In short, you clock in for financial bargaining, but afterwards you work to accomplish something vastly more meaningful to life. For instance you “workout” to stay in shape, you “work-through” issues that are in your way and you “work towards” building a meaningful relationship. Finding out what your life’s work is, will ultimately be revealed as you progress through the steps towards mental clarity.

Furthermore, discovering your embedded gifts, resources and connections to achieve what you’re destined to become, starts with mind-dumping the clutter impairing your thought processes. Keep in mind you can always seek out an honest mentor, enroll in a like minded class, find a good bible based church and even go on a spiritual pilgrimage.  Lastly, at the  minimum you owe it to yourself to diligently  research, research and research!

THE CONSCIOUSNESS of MAN: A guide through the darkness Paperback – November 2, 2016

THE DEPTH of GOD’S LOVE

51

(Excerpt from The Book of Wisdom by Reginald O’Neal Gibson)

Please know that God loves us unconditionally and in a perfect way. The depth of his mysterious ways are of no full understanding to mankind, but he loves us regardless of our comprehension. He has given us the breath of life through the nostrils of eternal wisdom. Peace is upon us as she blankets the earth as our comforter; forever protecting us from the frigidness that dwells within the night. God gave of his only begotten son for our salvation and in this act of love, broke the chains of hell; setting us free from the clutches of the opposer.

We all have what is needed for the fulfillment of life’s greatest purpose but as it stands, the human race continues to fall within the calamities of worldly lusts. The mislead prides around in hunger, stumbling in the darkness of fallacious love; only to settle for a resemblance of what is desired to be true. Love in personal success, love in wealth over others, love in the absence of lucidity and what some have fallen to believe, as the lusting love of the flesh.

Remember the cleansing of our sins upon repentance, is all that is needed in the belief that you are born again; in his love. But remember you are created in his image, so love yourself with reverence of all sins forgotten, laid to waste and never to return. We need only to accept God’s love as our own.  With this understanding, we must submit to our creator in reverence to his word. Thereby falling in love with the perfection of his creation; which is you.

Love yourself more in God than in mankind’s opinion of your worth. Love yourself enough through the difficult times of doubt, remembering the sun without fail will rise again. Love yourself in the highest regard, not to submit to anyone or anything less than your created purpose. Just keep pressing forward, believe in the absolute of this universal law and in the greater meaning of your life.

Now go forth in confidence, press on towards your greatness and above all, love yourself enough to honor the effort God bestowed within you. Take this as the bread of life, hunger no more and dive deep; immersing  yourself within the endless depth of his love.

GOD’S GREATEST GIFT

 94

Excerpt from GOD’S GREATEST CREATION: WOMAN

by REGINALD O’NEAL GIBSON

In my haste, after work I soon found myself rushing through our neighborhood  superstore. Head slightly spinning from the scamper of a long congested commute, my work as a father will once again be solidified by way of swift action taken for the need of my family.

Although a touch of physical exhaustion is the “go-to” excuse,  I knew a more persistent reason had to precede my ambitions before my weekend off. In this moment, I wasn’t the best version of myself but best wasn’t the goal; only promptness.

Nevertheless I push on, diligent in my steps tunneling through the children’s medicine aisle, soon to find with specific direction what is needed per my family’s sake.

Meanwhile a voice comes from behind, pausing time just slightly as a woman’s compliment rest across my ears. Still in focus mode all I could see was her eyes as she finishes her comment. “Wow, your shirt is on inside out” as she smiles and gazes the length of my neck down to my chest. She then notices my wedding ring and says “how could your wife let you go out looking like this?” I smile in politeness as empathy rushes in on her behalf.

Before my foot touched the ground in the sequence of continuing my business, I could sense she took a chance. In this moment I could feel the depth of her courage, hanging in the midst of uncertainty but by the look in her eyes; she was glad she seized the moment. This was of a woman in search and in need of completion but the wholeness she seeks, no man can provide; especially not I.

On this day she was confident, full of emotion and zeal, readily available to give of herself the best way she knows how. But again in the seemingly frozen moment, I could see past guilt as an accepted normality in her life.

If she or any woman truly wants a good man in this life, she’d must learn to love herself more than the idea of a man loving her. When a woman loves herself to the point where she needs no worldly confirmation, she invokes a spiritual confidence, not only conquering her past indiscretions but for the healing of the broken man she’s yet to acquire. Like Eve would yearn to be a part of Adam once again, a woman’s true fulfillment beckons the warmth of a committed love in singularity, unconditionally without fail; all for the totality of her given purpose.

In this, the completeness she seeks is from the wholeness of God. Whether married, seeking or soon to be, this covenant needs to take place if she’s to receive the purpose of man’s creation. If not, the man will remain broken and there’s little worse than a broken man or husband; aimlessly wandering the face of this planet without knowing his true purpose.

Know this, men are men because they were born to be men but husbands are made through the pure will of a woman’s heart, a gift from God; timelessly embedded in her intuition. This is why some women find it difficult to acquire a good man, being their heart is in the wrong place, hastened by the idea of time and lost, chasing the distractions of meaningless gossip.

Idea’s such  as competitiveness, control or the contentment of saying  “I have and man.” Not to forget her longing or lust of either the flesh, financial stability or title of being called Mrs. Some women don’t know where to look because they’re looking instead of listening the their heart, all the while distracted by other women’s boasts of the so-called good life.

A woman’s intuitive understanding is truly blessed, the ability to love, be of gentle peace and create life is more than evident that God, endowed her with the greatest power man has ever known within the physical realm of this earth.

Often instead of sowing the seed of her given ability, she wants her harvest sooner than later; this reflects the impatience of worldly lusts. Sometimes the entitlement of wanting the now instead of the ripen fruit of purpose, is lost within the fear of false perception but the chance is still impulsively taken.

Unknowingly, the chance taken thought to be a moment of courage is often a facade. A fallacy intent on extinguishing the pain of years of personal abuse; no doubt stemming from childhood. This is why some women are still attracted to the boy-like attributes of a man, being she never overcame the brokenness afflicted upon her as a young girl.

Flawless make up, a size zero waistline and the willingness to satisfy a man’s sexual desires, will never yield to her what’s she’s truly worth. Understand a man is just a man; broken at best. That is  until he becomes a husband fully nurtured by the heart and hands of a woman’s covenant in God.

If she really wants a man, a truly good man that is worthy of becoming her husband, she must hold her tongue, stand guard at the entrance of her mind and chase nothing but the fulfillment of Christ. In this she would acquire the strength to develop, nurture and create with her God given ability a husband of her own.

In this her natural order of needs will be bestowed plentiful and she will become the wholeness she seeks, thus completing the covenant as the breath of life.

Please know the power of creation isn’t held to the boundaries  of a woman’s womb but to the endless possibilities of her spirit. Lastly, as for the woman’s compliment in the children’s medicine aisle, I graciously smiled while nodding my head and continued on per my wife’s directions; no other response was needed.

“Women are the closest beings to God, they are his greatest gifts upon our world; abide by this truth and your purpose in life will be fulfilled.” – Reginald O’Neal Gibson

Alert! Friendly Reminder

Before it gets completely out of control:cropped-img_10981.jpg

When someone needs prayer or is going through a trial and requesting prayer on fb, I want to say please remember to pray to Christ first! Asking for prayer on fb will only bring forth gossip, quick comments or false prophets. Go to Christ first, get your revelation/blessing or healing and then come to fb and share it as a testimony! I’ll dare to say it if no one else does. At times when someone on fb puts their business out there and asks for prayer, I was quick to comment 🙏, “your in my prayers, God bless” or 😭. Rightfully so, there’s nothing wrong with this but the truth is most people are starting to believe sending the emoji or heartfelt comment IS THE ACTUAL PRAYER! (It’s actually a created-digital idol!)It’s not even close!  I know to each their own but just know, if someone “specifically” asks me to pray for them, I’m praying right at that moment (hopefully with the person) in the presence of Christ, addressing it specifically to Christ (not fb) and sealing the prayer in Christ’s name; Amen.

Again “Reminder Alert!” Exodus 20 “You shall have no other gods before me.”

Bottom line, don’t replace the gift of prayer with digital worship! Your “fb family” knows you are  holy but our opinions and or sympathy really doesn’t count, especially if you’re in need of something more than just empathy. So if you are a believer; GITC!  (Give it to Christ).

The Light within the Darkness

1

Lately I’ve been talking about “distractions” and how they can derail your created purposes in life; for a very specific reason! This goes from the purposely created fear of nuclear strike, taking a stand or knee in football, to all the media attention on racism. Bottom line is, something kinda of rare is taking place in the sky tomorrow (8-21-2017 Solar Eclispe) and it’s much larger than “all” our so-called fears, opinions and insecurities. Just remember to “pray in” peace and wisdom during this event. Don’t allow sensationalism to captivate your soul, especially when our true purposes are in righteousness. So, when most are gazing upward, I’ll be on my knees praying for this world to be delivered from the created shadows of fear and deceit. Not to forget for some of us, we’ll all temporarily be the same color in the darkness; with only the light in our hearts to guide us.

God bless.
