The Wilderness Within the Mountains: Part 1

I AM MINISTRIES by Pastor Reginald

The Conversation:

Hello everyone, today I’m going to speak on seven (7) points that need be expressed, made aware of, and considered within self, prior to jumping in the space of I AM MINISITRIES, and for that matter any organization that one may feel more drawn to.

I’m doing this for a couple of reasons, first:

  • To slow down the ideological nuance of wanting to be within the space or company of I AM MINISTRIES. That is, to address ego, intentionality, and that sense of newfound excitement.
  • Provide clarity between you and I, such that expectations can be met, understood, and hopefully unified per the direction God bestowed within your heart. With that, remember I AM MINISTRIES at our least, is a reminder such that (if need be) course correction can happen with or without us. Therefore, the underline goal is for you to find your community in Christ. Again, I’m not asking you to join. I’m asking for a conversation, such that spiritual discernment can take place.
  • To remind people what the bigger picture is, because as I’ve said before, “I AM MINISTRIES is built different.”

What I’m mean by that is, I AM MINISTRIES is an anointed by God, clarified fellowshipping lifework, which provides direction and spiritual clarity to others in seek. Meaning, we are not the indoctrinated, cookie-cutter religious business most innocent souls fall for, with regard to seeking foundation in Christ.

So, let’s get into this and move mountains by addressing the three (3) main issues I’ve encountered thus far, since officially opening up.

Having said that, I’ll give a bit more content.

I’ve had many people drop off from I AM MINISTRIES within the last two years, because they didn’t understand or accept how different I as a pastor, and this ministry is.

So, those barriers which I called mountains prior, are within the beginning of the ideological separation process of dropping off. Which is expected, and totally fine, because like I said “we’re just (if need be) a course correcting reminder, such that you can hopefully find your connection in Christ, which “God bestowed within your heart” already, thereby revealing within your clarified temple, your destined path through God; not I AM MINISTRIES.

Know that we’re not trying to establish a business off of that which you don’t know intrinsically within your spirit and then claim that we are leaders guiding you to the kingdom mindset.

That’s why, within my introduction to this ministry, I’m not reciting bible scriptures, this is not Sunday bible school for toddlers. Look around, there’s much larger issues to be cleared first, as the Holy Spirit anointed me to be aware of that is, making way for the allowance of clarity and fellowship to come to pass.

Now, if all I’ve said thus far is confusing, hopefully what I’m about to say can shed some light or to the least, provide some sense of clarity, with regard to understanding self, possible disconnect, or why there may be a stumbling block, upon the path of righteousness.

So again, let’s get into this:

Mountain #1 – Epistemic injustice: This is when a speaker, interpreter, or someone in the position as a knower, (say pastor) is unfairly doubted, biasedly omitted, or ignored, because there in lies untrust or prejudice within the seeker of guidance.

Barrier #2 – Cognitive Dissonance: This is when someone feels a mental challenge or discomfort when their (preconditioned) beliefs either don’t match their actions or when two contradictory ideas are held simultaneously. This is a mental stumbling block.

Bias #3 – Spite: This is when someone’s emotional baggage is so heavy, they within their perspective, may reflect envy, ill will or hatred on someone else simply for doing their own thing whether it be their personal interests, ambitions or even anointing.

Now, that’s just surface level cognitive behavioral patterns; it’s not an exhausted list, and definitely not the worst. Only, for some, these misunderstandings create barriers, which often hinder the process of clarity, and therefore become a distraction upon the path.

So let me try to sum this up a bit (per my opinion and lived experiences).

People have hastily tried to jump into I AM MINISTRIES with what appears in their perspectives said – “God Blessed Enthusiasm,” that is, they were on fire for the lord and wanted to be fed but was looking for a small church, without all the drama, self-reflection or expectations. So, they were thrilled when I said in my second and third (off script) video “keep your tithes, you can’t buy your way into this,” but what they soon encountered was not the opportunity they assumed would be.

Which is why I referenced the previous barriers. And trust, I’m not being judgmental but more so, (as referenced) simply highlighting particular attributes identified through prudency, lived experience, and spiritual awareness; thus, noting mannerisms displayed within people who are hope-filled with intention. And thereby, acknowledging the potentially of an underlined reason for this excitement, which to be fair could simply be the season of grace they’re currently in.

So, when I’m approached within the excitement of what appears to be an opportunist, I within wisdom take into consideration, they may not fully understand or have become aware of their (potential) emotional trauma reflective of that intrinsic desire to be connected. That is, they seek to be within company, should drastically be slowed down, such that discernment can take place, per one’s level of need and or acceptance (if any).
