Note To Self

No AI. No seminars or collaborations. No fancy sales pitch. No “7 steps to become wealthy” self-help book/s. Just a note to self, scribbled in the a.m. of night on the back of an overdrawn check book. That’s what it took for me to accept, humble is thy way. Never forget the pain. Embrace the fear. Own your inadequacies and beckon the faith required to rise above the brokenness of self within societal debacle. Ask not, why your enemies, for they suffer more so in the dark, thus the attack on your light. Know this, rising often starts with humility, far before ambition becomes reality. From the notes I’ve written, I’ve learned this above all, my future, is no greater than my past, because I know the power within purpose is eternal. Regardless of status, gained accolades or idealized worth, nothing will ever be greater than that which God embedded within my (our) spirit. Sometimes, the next big or best thing to do is pause, revisit the humility. Was that your calling, or was it just a note – to self? – Pastor Reginald
