WHY I WRITE
Poem from GOD’S GREATEST CREATION: WOMAN
by Reginald O’Neal Gibson
WHY I WRITE
“I write because I’m a reflection of you and the beauty from within.
I write because It’s my legacy, my purpose, fanned by God’s given wind.
Set sail upon troubled waters in the darkest of night,
unto sunrise praise thee oh lord as our spirits unite.
From the sigh of his nostrils to the air that we breathe,
births my calling to fulfill the covenant of life; rooted deeply of blessed seed.
I write because it’s healing for all that journey the storm of this path,
a born again sinner in reverence of God’s mighty wrath.
More so into heaven, within the spirit I awake,
praised last words upon rest; was “my soul to take.”
I write to share wisdom, within this truth I shall remain,
cultivated by hands of praise, stretched high in Jesus name.
I write because I love you, I write because I’m free.
I write because I’m all that is you, as you are a reflection
of Christ within me.”
“We are as one, within the unfathomable wisdom of the Holy Spirit.”
